Flexible Flying Time
The Flying time of the charter is subject to flying permissions and weather forecast and can be changed if
the weather is not permissible for flying or in case of any technical issues
Body Weight Limitation
Each helicopter can accommodate up to 6 passengers with a total body weight limitation of 445 kg
for 6 passengers. Heli Yatra holds the right to de-board the passenger if the given body weight
deviates from the actual body weight provided at the time of making the booking. In such a scenario,
we will not be liable to provide the refund amount to any passenger de-boarded. Passengers are
requested to share the exact body weight measured on an electronic measuring scale. Passengers with
body weight above 75 Kg will be charged INR 2,000 / - Per Kg. This amount will be collected in
Dehradun to avoid last-minute hustle. Passengers whose given body weight is wrong will be
charged INR 2500 /- Per Kg only on the final call of the pilot else will be de-boarded without any
refund.
Luggage Weight
Only one small soft bag/ duffle bag weighing a maximum of 2 kg is allowed per passenger
provided the body weight is exactly the same as was provided at the time of booking. Suitcases or
any other luggage bags including hard case bag is strictly prohibited to be carried in the helicopter.
Flying Schedule
Any of the Dham can be covered first depending on the weather conditions, Technical Issues, huge
rush in the temple and govt. permissions.
Infants
Infants below 2 years are accommodated free of charge. For verification of age of the child, ID
proof/birth certificate of the child needs to be submitted before arrival date at the source of journey.
Bad Weather Conditions
Flying in hills is subjected to bad weather conditions, many Force Majeure factors like delayed Air
Traffic Clearances/ Permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM),
sudden occurrence oftechnical snag in aircraft, illness of flying crew or late reporting ofthe
passengers at helipads, among others. Therefore, passengers must be prepared to face any
eventuality and inconvenience in case of such scenarios. We strongly advise our passengers to
keep one additional day at hand, over & above the 1 Day period, to avoid inconvenience in case
passengers get stuck at any ofthe destinations due to bad weather or force majeure scenarios.
Due to backlog / bad weather or any natural circumstance there can be amendments in your
itinerary where we can only Ekdham in 1 day or Dodham in 2 days. And in some circumstances
your trip may be cancelled on the day of arrival due to the above conditions with full refund except
the expenses occurred in Dehradun. In most ofthe situations, ifthere is back log due to bad weather
trip may get cancelled.
Medical/ Special Condition
Heli Yatra staff should be informed at the time of booking ifthere is any Medical or Special
condition (Handicapped, Specially or Mentally Challenged etc.) involved with any ofthe flyers.
Heli-Yatra has full rights to de-board the passenger if not informed at the time of booking
No Flying
In case we are completely unable to visit any dham due to bad weather situation we will refund
proportionate money i.e if due to any reason we are unable to do 1 dham then we will refund
Proportionate money subjected to the flying hours which is exclusive of Royalty fee, Taxes and fixed
components.
Passenger Grouping
In view of our helicopters’ limited weight carrying capacity, operating company reserves the right to
shuffle passengers between helicopters to manage the right weightfor safe flying in the hills.
Therefore, passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in same helicopter flight.
Only 1 Cab/ Vehicle will be provided for 6 Passengers throughout their entire journey.
Rescheduling Of Booking
Rescheduling your booking to any future or prior travel date, will be done subject to availability, and
on payment of 20% of the total tour cost. This will be permitted only ifinformed at least 30 days
before arrival date. In case rescheduling is requested less than 30 days prior to the travel date, then
the booking would be treated as cancelled, & a fresh booking will be given subject to availability, after
the levy of applicable cancellation charges.
Payment Terms
➢ We accept payments via bank transfers.
➢ The booking is to be done in advance with a deposit of 40% ofthe total amount. Balance payment
will be taken 30 days prior to the date of arrival at Dehradun.
➢ Passengers will not be permitted to board or commence the tour, unless full & final payment of
the tour has been done.
Force Majeure & Bad Weather Refunds:
Basis of Refund:
Tour Cost: In-case 01 Dham is completed and 01 Dham is left out then passengers will be charged
according to our Ekdham Heli-tour which is INR 71,500 per pax for Kedarnath Dham & INR 78,000
for Badrinath Dham. This cost is exclusive of other expenses (Extra night halt, Extra transfers, or any
other extra services utilized other than the package inclusions).
Additional Services: The cost of additional services provided at any Dham during the tour will be
deducted over & above the refundable Tour Cost. Refund against an unutilized service will not be
done.
COVID-19 Lockdowns, or any National/State Emergency: In case passengers test COVID positive
before the travel, or the Yatra gets called-off by the government, or any National or State emergency is
imposed, there will be no refunds applicable. However, passengers will be provided a Credit Voucher
by Heli Yatra against the advance paid, which will be valid for one year. It can be utilized against any
of our helicopter tours or charter services by the passengers or any oftheir friends/relatives.
Important Guidelines
➢ As this is NSOP (Non scheduled operations) flying, flying time for the next day is conveyed to
passengers a night prior once the operation plan is finalized in the evening/ night after sunset.
➢ It's compulsory for passengers to arrive a night prior at Dehradun from their respective flying dates
so that they can report at the Sahastradhara helipad on time with out any delay.
➢ We do not provide Accommodation & Airport/ Hotel Transfers in our Same-Day Heli-Tours.
➢ If there is any technical snag in the helicopter or any sudden testing required there might be a
possibility of delay or passenger may fly on the next day. In case of major partfailure, your trip may
be cancelled in between the Yatra.
➢ There can be a waiting time at every helipad for upto 2 hours approx. depending upon the multiple
factors like Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges etc.
➢ As this is a Same-Day Heli-tour, there can be instances where we have to prioritize passenger's
darshans and we might skip 01 meal (Breakfast/ Lunch) included in the package so that Darshans are
not hampered in case of Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges etc.
➢ In case of emergency and bad weather scenarios, passengers will be taken back to Dehradun by road.
➢ Aadhar Card copy is mandatory to be submitted in advance before the date of flight by all Indian
passengers, and Passport in case offoreign nationals.
➢ Any donations, tips, pitthu, palki/pony and porter charges shall be borne by the passengers.
➢ At each dham we have our informed handlers and incase of any assistance client has to reach out the
handlers.
➢ Any night halt due to any circumstances will be borne by the customers and client has to pay the
amount on actuals in the hotel directly.
➢ Mobile Network: (Kedarnath - Airtel, GIO & BSNL) | (Badrinath - Airtel, GIO & BSNL).
Company has full rights to cancel the booking in case of any emergency situation due to the current
situation ofthe COVID-19 or any govt. circular.
Package Cancellation Policy
If a customer wishes to cancel their booking, they have to pay cancellation charges as mentioned
below:
➢ Upto 30 Days before the flying date - 40% of the amount
➢ In between 0 to 30 Days - No Refund
➢ The registration for the CharDham Yatra is the traveler's sole responsibility, and while we are available to assist if needed, we cannot ensure a successful registration on their behalf.
