Flexible Flying Time:

  • Flying time is subject to permissions and weather conditions.
  • Changes may occur due to weather or technical reasons.

Body Weight Limitation:

  • Each helicopter can accommodate up to 6 passengers with a total weight limitation of 445 kg for all 6 passengers.
  • Heli Yatra reserves the right to de-board passengers if the actual body weight deviates from what was provided at the time of booking.
  • No refunds will be provided for any passenger who is de-boarded due to incorrect body weight.
  • Passengers are requested to provide exact body weight measured on an electronic scale.
  • Passengers with a body weight of above 75 kg will be charged INR 2,000 per kg excess. This amount will be collected in Dehradun before the flight.
  • If the given body weight is incorrect, passengers will be charged INR 2,500 per kg on the final check by the pilot, or they will be de-boarded without any refund.

Luggage Weight

  • 1 small soft bag (max. 3 kg) per passenger.
  • Hard-case luggage or large bags are not allowed.

Flying Schedule

  • Dham sequence may vary due to weather, technical issues, or government permissions.
  • The departure time and sequence are subject to change.

Infants

  • Infants below 2 years are accommodated free of charge. For verification of age of the child, ID proof/birth certificate of the child needs to be submitted before arrival date at the source of journey.

Bad Weather Conditions

  • Flying in hills is subject to bad weather conditions and Force Majeure factors like:
  • Delayed Air Traffic Clearances/Permissions
  • VVIP movements
  • Valley flying by Indian Air Force (NOTAM)
  • Sudden occurrence of technical snag in aircraft
  • Illness of flying crew
  • Late reporting of passengers at helipads
  • Passengers must be prepared to face any eventuality and inconvenience in case of such scenarios.
  • It is strongly advised to keep one additional day beyond the 1-day period to avoid inconvenience in case passengers get stuck at any of the destinations due to bad weather or Force Majeure scenarios.
  • Due to backlog, bad weather, or any natural circumstance, the itinerary may be amended, and only Ekdham can be covered in 1 day or Dodham in 2 days.
  • In most situations, if there is a backlog due to bad weather, the trip may be cancelled.
  • If Dodham is completed in 2 days, extra night halt charges will be borne by guests on actuals.

Medical/ Special Condition 

  • Inform us in advance if any medical or special conditions exist. We reserve the right to de-board passengers who do not disclose this information.

No Flying 

  • In case we are completely unable to visit any dham due to bad weather situation we will refund proportionate money i.e if due to any reason we are unable to do 1 dham then we will refund Proportionate money subjected to the flying hours which is exclusive of Royalty fee, Taxes and fixed components.

Passenger Grouping

  • In view of our helicopters’ limited weight carrying capacity, operating company reserves the right to shuffle passengers between helicopters to manage the right weightfor safe flying in the hills. Therefore, passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in same helicopter flight. Only 1 Cab/ Vehicle will be provided for 6 Passengers throughout their entire journey.

Rescheduling Of Booking 

  • 20% charge applies for rescheduling 30 days before the tour.
  • Less than 30 days notice will result in a fresh booking with applicable cancellation charges.

Payment Terms 

  • We accept payments via bank transfers.
  • 50% deposit at the time of booking; balance due 30 days before departure.
  • Full payment required before departure to board the helicopter.

Force Majeure & Bad Weather Refunds: 

  • If 1 Dham is completed and 1 Dham is left out, passengers will be refunded INR 12,000 per person.
  • This refund is exclusive of additional expenses such as: i) Extra night halt ii)Extra transfers
  • Other additional services outside of the package inclusions
  • Additional Services: Costs for additional services at any Dham will be deducted from the refund.
  • No refund will be provided for unutilized services during the tour.
  • COVID-19 Lockdowns, or any National/State Emergency: In case passengers test COVID positive before the travel, or the Yatra gets called-off by the government, or any National or State emergency is imposed, there will be no refunds applicable. However, passengers will be provided a Credit Voucher by Heli Yatra against the advance paid, which will be valid for one year. It can be utilized against any of our helicopter tours or charter services by the passengers or any oftheir friends/relatives.

Important Guidelines

  • As this is NSOP (Non scheduled operations) flying, flying time for the next day is conveyed to passengers a night prior once the operation plan is finalized in the evening/ night after sunset.
  • It's compulsory for passengers to arrive a night prior at Dehradun from their respective flying dates so that they can report at the Sahastradhara helipad on time with out any delay.
  • We do not provide Accommodation & Airport/ Hotel Transfers in our Same-Day Heli-Tours.
  • If there is any technical snag in the helicopter or any sudden testing required there might be a possibility of delay or passenger may fly on the next day. In case of major partfailure, your trip may be cancelled in between the Yatra.
  • There can be a waiting time at every helipad for upto 2 hours approx. depending upon the multiple factors like Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges etc.
  • As this is a Same-Day Heli-tour, there can be instances where we have to prioritize passenger's darshans and we might skip 01 meal (Breakfast/ Lunch) included in the package so that Darshans are not hampered in case of Bad Weather, NOTAM & other operational challenges etc.
  • In case of emergency and bad weather scenarios, passengers will be taken back to Dehradun by road.
  • Aadhar Card copy is mandatory to be submitted in advance before the date of flight by all Indian passengers, and Passport in case offoreign nationals.
  • Any donations, tips, pitthu, palki/pony and porter charges shall be borne by the passengers.
  • At each dham we have our informed handlers and incase of any assistance client has to reach out the handlers.
  • Any night halt due to any circumstances will be borne by the customers and client has to pay the amount on actuals in the hotel directly
  • Mobile Network: (Kedarnath - Airtel, GIO & BSNL) | (Badrinath - Airtel, GIO & BSNL). Company has full rights to cancel the booking in case of any emergency situation due to the current situation ofthe COVID-19 or any govt. circular.

Package Cancellation Policy

  • Up to 30 days before flying date: 40% cancellation charge.
  • 0 to 30 days before flying date: No refund. 
  • If there is no flying due to bad weather or force majeure, we will provide a proportinal refund (excluding taxes, royalty fees and 10% flight preparation charges).

  1. Extra Night Halt: Any extra night halts due to weather or other reasons are at the passenger’s expense
  2. The terms are designed to ensure safety, comfort, and smooth operations during the Dodham Yatra. Always plan ahead and communicate any special needs in advance.
  3. VIP Darshan provides priority entry inside the temple but does not guarantee exclusive access. All darshans are as per the government SOPs
  4. Donations, tips, porter charges, palki/pony charges (except Yamunotri) are not included and must be borne by passengers.
  5. Any last-minute changes or add-ons to the itinerary are not possible. All requests should be made in advance.
  6. The registration for the CharDham Yatra is the traveler's sole responsibility, and while we are available to assist if needed, we cannot ensure a successful registration on their behalf.
